FIND A PERSON FAQS

Q: Where does Whoble get the directory information?

A: Whoble’s partners have taken all of their information from public databases and open government records. All 100% legal.

Q: How often is the database updated?

A: Most of the listings in the databases can range from three months to six months old and are updated about every three months.

Q: Why can't I find information of a person using Whoble’s partners that I know has been at the same location for a year or more?

A: Not all of the databases are similar. And if someone doesn’t want to be found they make it a bit harder to actually be found.

Q: How can I get better results when searching for a person?

A: Check out the sections below:

Last Name

• Try using only the first 4 letters of the last name.
• If the last name is common, be sure to include information in the First Name and/or City field.
• If the last name contains a space (e.g. La Rosa), try it without the space.

First Name

• Using the first letter only is the most effective, since you lessen the chance of a misspelling.
Street Name
• Try dropping the thoroughfare type (e.g. Street, Road, Rd, Ave, etc).
• Try dropping the "direction" in the name (e.g. for West Hanover, drop "West").
Zip Code
• If you know the zip code, use it instead of a city name (you still need a state), as there is less chance for misspellings.
